Youth Engagement Program (YEP)
The Adelaide Fringe offers a Youth Engagement Program to share the Fringe experience with young people.
Over 5000 young people enjoyed what the Fringe had to offer in 2009 through this program. We invite teachers to keep in touch with the Adelaide Fringe as we'll be able to assist even more in 2010.
The 2010 Adelaide Fringe Guide will be launched on January 9, 2010. After this date, YEP coordinator Tricia Ryan will publish a comprehensive list of school appropriate events and session times to help navigate the 2010 program. The Adelaide Fringe runs from 19 February - 14 March 2010 we advise teachers and educators to be organised with bookings.
There are four ways your school can engage with the 2010 Adelaide Fringe:
- Build a float or develop a theme and participate in the Opening Night Fringe Parade.
- Purchase discounted tickets, and enjoy reduced booking fees to a wide variety of scheduled Fringe events through the YEP Coordinator
- Arrange a day time in-venue session or in-school performance of an event, at a time to suit you, through the YEP coordinator
- Attend street theatre and community events across Adelaide and Pt Augusta to be announced in January 2010.
